Theres a calling far away, That I don't understand, Every time I try to reach it, Someone grabs my hand. I feel like I'm so helpless, So dumb and stupid and alone, Like my blood is turning straight to ice, And my body's turned to stone. Every day I watch those stars, Hoping to touch them one day, That my mind would beautifully burst, Into an inspirational ray. But my mind seems locked away, Trapped in walls of steel, Made by those I love and cherish, And the things I love and feel. Distracted from a world of magic, Dragged away from those dreams, Those that kept my hope stong, Those childhood fantasies.
